Amy and Roger's Epic Detour took me forever to read — and not in one of those “Oh my, this book is so dull, how could I ever finish it?” kind of ways. Why you liked this book: I liked this book because it was kind of a break from a lot of YA fiction as in it wasn't COMPLETELY centered around romance. Amy & Roger's Epic Detour by Morgan Matson. Amy Curry has not had an easy time of it. Simon & Schuster Children's Publishing, May 2010. The combination of plot, characters and detailed writing was pure perfection. Summary: After her dad dies in a car accident, the only thing Anna wants is to be left alone. In fact, it was quite the opposite. My Review: Two words to describe Amy & Roger's Epic Detour - LOVED IT! Title: Amy & Roger's Epic Detour. It was fun, exciting and simply adorable! Date of Release: May 4th, 2010.
